Title |
SegAnnDB: interactive web-based genomic segmentation
|
Abstract |
In cancer biology, microarray technology can be used to
measure genome-wide DNA copy number. Segmentation models are used to
find regions of uniform copy number, and there have been many models
proposed for this task. In this presentation, I will show how visual
annotations can be used to define an interpretable model for these
data using a new web site, SegAnnDB. I will also briefly explain the
learning algorithms, database system, interactive scatterplots, and
data export features used on the web site.
