The Education and Research Organization for Genome Information Science is a joint bioinformatics education program between the Bioinformatics Center of Kyoto University and the Human Genome Center of the University of Tokyo. It is supported by the special coordination fund for promoting science and technology from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan.
