Network analysis of microbial metabolism for therapeutic development
Abstract
With the explosion of data characterizing the genotype-phenotype relationship of microbes under diverse conditions, there remains the challenge to interrogate such data to better understand and predict their function. Computer models have become indispensable tools to address these challenges. We will discuss recent methods to construct and test computer models of microbial metabolism and how these models are shaping the way we think about and design therapeutic strategies.
